2012 People’s Choice Awards: The Red Carpet

12 Jan

The stars shined last night at the People’s Choice Awards in LA. Lea Michele wore a fringe bone white dress from the Marchesa Spring 2012 Collection. She paired it up with a metallic silver box clutch and Jimmy Choo “Senora” glitter sandals. Demi Lovato looked glamourous in a strapless peach gown from Marchesa from the label’s Resort 2012 collection. Her outfit was completed by a turquoise and pearl embroidered square box clutch, also by the designer. Nina Dobrev looked amazing in a kelly green cocktail dress with lace sleeves and nude pumps, both by Elie Saab, and a Lauren Merkin clutch. Other stars who stood out at the event were Lucy Hale with a bead-embellished, asymmetrical black dress from the Cengiz Abazoglu’s Summer 2010 Haute Couture Collection, Miley Cyrus with a sophisticated David Koma dress for the event which included sheer panel detail, Ashley Green in a custom created black lace and leather dress by DKNY, Vanessa Hudgens in a black sheer dress embellished with a subtle gold web-like embroidery by Jenny Packman Fall 2011 collection and Jennifer Lawrence in a short bright blue mesh-paneled Viktor & Rolf dress from the Spring 2012 collection. Also seen at the Nokia Theatre red carpet event were Cheryl Burke with an embellished tank dress with a super-high slit, Julianne Hough with a backless metallic silver long-sleeved dress and Kristen Bell in a leather and lace Valentino frock. Which one is your favorite dress?
